We are also grateful to our tournament committee members, program participants, event volunteers, and in-kind donors, all of whom contributed to the event’s success. A Look Back at the 2017 Tournament

In its first year, the Make-A-Wish® Golf Tournament at Rhode Island Country Club in Barrington set the course for future wishes!

On Monday, May 15, 130 participants enjoyed golfing at one of Rhode Island’s premier courses along beautiful Narragansett Bay. The sold-out tournament brought together top business and philanthropic leaders from the region to support the Make-A-Wish mission during the 30thanniversary year of Make-A-Wish® Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

After a round of friendly competition on the course, golfers enjoyed a cocktail reception followed by a dinner program emceed by Michelle Muscatello from WPRI-TV Channel 12. The evening concluded with a fantastic show of generosity as tournament participants together contributed enough through Fund-A-Wish to grant the wishes of two Rhode Island children!

A heartfelt thank you to all of our generous supporters and in particular, to major sponsors Textron, Delta Dental of Rhode Island, Trusted Choice | Independent Insurance Agents of Rhode Island, and Bill and Doris Loehning of Barrington. We are also grateful to our tournament committee members, program participants, event volunteers, media sponsors WPRI-TV and Cat Country 98.1, and in-kind donors, all of whom contributed to the event’s success. This inaugural tournament raised more than $120,000 to grant wishes for seriously ill children in Rhode Island!
