Rhode Island Native Joins Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island Team as Regional Director
Sara Masri of Providence helps create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses throughout Rhode Island
PROVIDENCE (January 22, 2018) – Make-A-Wish® Massachusetts and Rhode Island is pleased to announce Sara Masri has joined the organization as Regional Director, Rhode Island to help create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses throughout the state. Masri began her new role in December 2017. She and her family reside in Providence.
As Regional Director, Masri is responsible for all fundraising and community development operations in Rhode Island. In communicating the mission and vision of the organization, Masri will be raising the funds necessary to provide life-changing wishes for Rhode Island children.
Masri has close to 20 years of experience working in non-profit philanthropy, most recently as a Major Gift Officer for Butler Hospital and the Assistant Director of Development at Meeting Street. A graduate of Cornell University, Masri also holds a Masters in Social Work from the University of Maryland at Baltimore.
