Make-A-Wish Raises $220K at Evening of Wishes

Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island raised more than $220,000 at a recent Evening of Wishes fundraiser to support children with serious illnesses in Rhode Island.

The organization grants wishes for children between the ages of 2½ and 18 years of age with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience. While it serves both states, funds from this event will help children in Rhode Island.

Birthday Wish Comes True for Boy Fighting Cancer

A community came together Monday to give one little boy a special birthday wish.

This week Xavier Pereira turns three years old, but for the last month, the vibrant little boy spent his time in a hospital, getting blood transfusions, spinal taps, and chemotherapy.
